The king of cocktails — gin and a whisper of dry vermouth. Stir until ice cold, strain and serve with a lemon twist.
Chef's Notes
Chill the glass thoroughly. The ratio is a matter of preference — our house Martini is 6:1 gin to vermouth.
London Dry style
Noilly Prat or Dolin
Chill a martini or coupe glass with ice water while building the cocktail.
Combine gin and dry vermouth in a mixing glass with plenty of ice. Stir for 45 seconds until very cold.
💡 The glass should be too cold to hold comfortably.
Discard the chilling ice from the serving glass. Strain the Martini in. Express a lemon twist over the surface, run around the rim and place in the glass.
